In their extended quarter final match against Stuart & Sean Thorburn (Ayr Dalmilling) the Prestwick Centre pairing eventually won through at the first extra hole of their marathon tie, which progressed to a second round following the first round finishing all square, with poor light preventing the players from continuing into extra holes.
In the semi finals, Long and Tanner will be at home to Stuart Craig & Andy McConnell (Crosshouse).
The other semi final sees Jordan Kelly & Stuart Watt (Drongan) at home to Alan Stewart & Alan Stewart Jr. (Stewarton).
Both semi finals are due to be completed by the 29th of August, with the final scheduled to take place at Kilmarnock Barassie on Sunday the 5th of September during Finals day.
