Fellow Scot Calum Hill (Tantallon), a student at the University of Louisiana-Monroe, slumped to an 80 which left him in joint 64th place in a field of 70.

Walker bired the long first, short fourth, short ninth, 14th and 18th in halves of 35 (one under) and 37 (one over). He had a double bogey 6 at the 16th and dropped single shots at the long second, sixth and 11th.
