DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Aces High at qualifying event.

John Shanks (Irvine) still leads the way in the chase for the Doc Thom Ayrshire Order Of Merit with all results posted to date, with the exception of last weekend's Gowf Cup at Loudoun.

At the recent McGilchrist Cup competition at Ardeer, where Daniel Foprbes (Irvine) took full points to move into equal fourth spot, it was notable that competitors recorded a total of three holes in one during the event.

Craig Mitchell and Scott Grant holed in one at the eighth hole whilst Joe Howie provided a grandstand finish with a hole in one at the last.
