Scotland made a flying start to the Under-16 boys' quadrangular golf international at Southerndown Golf Club, South Wales today.
They beat the Netherlands 7-5 and now play Wales who were trounced 9 1/2-2 1/2 by Ireland in the other opening-day match.
The Scots took the foursomes 2 1/2-1 1/2 and the singles 4 1/2-3 1/2 against the Dutch.
Cameron Black (Cardross) was the only member of the Scotland team to win both his ties.

Ross Robertson (Old Ranfurly) and Matthew McCulloch (Portpatrick) halved with Jim De Heiji and Dario Antonisse.

Reid lost to Karaai 5 and 4.
