Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) has been named in the final nomineee list for the 2012 Sunday Mail Scottish Sports Awards to be announced at the annual awards ceremony on 6th December.
One fo three nominations in the Young Sports Person category, the 19-year-old Stirling University student made a stunning European Tour debut against a world-class field in the Scottish Open Championship, as well as becoming British Universities’ champion and a semi-finalists in the Amateur Championship at Royal Troon.
Jack McDonald becomes Ayrshire golf's second nomination this year following the inclusion of Alasdair Berry (Irvine Ravenspark) as one of four nomineed in the Disability Sport category
