The 2010 Grants Cup will be held on Friday 2nd July this year, over the Girvan golf course.
Formerly the Girvan Boys Championship, the event moves to a new spot in the calendar this year in the hope of attracting more competitors.
The chapionship, one of the oldest on the junior calendar in the county, is administered by The Rotary Club of Girvan and is open to both boys and girls, regardless of whether they are members of clubs and have a handicap or not.
As well as the Grant Cup for the best scratch score recorded overall, there are other prizes awarded in three age group categories, whilst the Nick Price Trophy is awarded to the club who produces the best team score in the event.
