7 of the 8 quarter finalists in the 2007 Ayrshire Junior Champion Of Champions Trophy competition are now known, after a number of matches were played recently.
David Gillespie (Caprington) lost out at home to Ciaran Byrne (New Cumnock), with the match finishing at the 2nd extra hole.
Away wins were also recorded by Craig McLaughlin (Largs), a 3 & 2 winnner over Christopher Butler (Ravenspark), Garry Patterson (Ballochmyle), who beat Jack Bone (Annanhill) at the first extra hole, and Euan Brown (Kilmarnock Barassie) who won by 3 & 2 against Adam Foley (Ayr Belleisle).
In the other match played recently, Jared Williams (St. Meddans) won by 2 & 1 at home to Steven Mancini (St. Nicholas).
With Callum Crowe (Kilbirnie) and Michael Roos (West KIlbride) already in to the last 8, the only result awaited is the match between Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Champion Kyle Smith and Chris Bennett (Ardeer).
The draw for the quarter finals is scheduled to be made on tuesday 5th June.
