AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - League Championship latest

The four sections in the 2006 Ayrshire Junior Golf League Championship are nearing a conclusion, with the top teams in each section at the end of July progressing to contest the semi finals.There have been no recent match results in section A and Present positions are :-

In Section B, Troon St. Meddans were held to 3 – 3 draws in their two home matches, against Prestwick St. Cuthbert and Caprington, recently. Present positions in Section B are :-

In Section C, Largs recorded two home wins recently, with a 4.5 – 1.5 result against local rivals Routenburn and a 4 – 2 win over section leaders Ayr Belleisle. In the other match played recently Routenburn had their first win of the season, beating visitors Kilmarnock Barassie by 5 – 1 at Largs. Present positions in Section C are :-
