AYRSHIRE GOLF ASSOCIATION - Stephen McBlain secures the 2005 Doc Thom Salver

Stephen McBlain (Prestwick St. Cuthbert) won the 2005 Doc Thom Ayrshire Order Of Merit Trophy by a narrow margin over David McLure (Troon Welbeck) and Gavin Lawrie (Prestwick St. Nicholas) who tied for second place.

The Order of Merit title is decided on points awarded throughout the season for a variety of competitions including the Ayrshire Strokeplay and matchplay championships and 5 events held at clubs in the county.
