JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT 2004 - McEwan takes 2004 title.

STEVEN McEWAN of Kilmarnock Barassie has secured the 2004 Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit after the qualifying competitions were concluded last week. With the cancellation of the Ballochmyle Boys Open and the postponement of the Harris Boys Open at West Kilbride until later in the year, both due to torrential rain, the final two qualifying events to be recorded were the Belleisle and Kilbirnie boys opens. Home players took top placings in both events, Lee Hughes at Belleisle and Jordan Waite at Kilbirnie. The final two events did not however affect the final placings at the top of the table.
