GIRLS GOLF - Spring Salver opens Ayrshire girls season at Ballochmyle.
The sun was shining at Ballochmyle yesterday, Sunday 22 March, for the Ayrshire girls' first competition of the season, the new Ayrshire Girls' Spring Salver.
Winter conditions were still in play and there was a strong wind blowing, but the girls were not put off and all returned very acceptable scores.
Louise Duncan (West Kilbride) was the first winner of a new Salver gifted for this competition.
