Ballochmyle are the first team through to the semi finals of the 2006 Ayrshire Junior Golf League Championship, gaining enough points over their first seven games to ensure top spot in section A.
Ballochmyle ensured top spot with 3 - 3 draws away to Ardeer and Beith, whilst closest rivals Annanhill had mixed fortunes with a 4.5 - 1.5 defeat at Beith and a 5 - 1 home win over Troon Welbeck.

In Section B, Caprington remain favourites, with a crunch game away to nearest rivals, Kilbirnie looking decisive.
In recent matches, Prestwick St. Nicholas had a good 3 - 3 draw away to St. Meddans, whilst in the two derby matches between the Prestwick clubs, St. Cuthbert just gained the advantage, drawing 3 - 3 at St. Nicholas and edging out their neighbours by 3.5 - 2.5 in the return.
