THE AYRSHIRE JUG - Mixed greensomes third round line up confirmed while David & Fran Hadden book quarter final place

The third round line up in the 2025 Ayrshire mixed greensomes competition for The Ayrshire Jug has been confirmed while David & Fran Hadden (Kilmarnock Barasse) have become the first pairing to book their place in the quarter finals.

In the one outstanding second round tie, defending champions Iain & Shirley Campbell (Prestwick St Cuthbert) beat their visitors Neil & Carol Scott (Prestwick St Nicholas) to progress to round three, where they will have another home tie against Alyssa Gillies and Andrew Orr (Ballochmyle/Loudoun).

Meanwhile, David and Fran Hadden (Kilmarnock Barassie) are the first pairing to progress to the quarter finals following an away win against Carol Moffat & James McGhee (Caprington/Loudoun) at the second extra hole in their third round tie.

In the quarter finals the hadden's face an away tie against either kevin hamilton & Karen Miller (Rowallan castle) or Alison malcolm & Andrew Gordon (Ayr Belleisle Ladies/Ayr Belleisle).

All the third round ties are due to be completed by the 22nd of June.
