DOC THOM AYRSHIRE MEN'S ORDER OF MERIT - John Shanks still leads after eleven events

John Shanks (Irvine) still leads the chase for the Doc Thom salver and Ayrshire men's order of merit title following completion of eleven of the tewenty four qualifying competitions this season.

Kevin Thomas (Troon St Meddans) took maximum points from the latest local qualifying event, the MacGilchrist Cup at Ardeer, recently, ahead of Sandy Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) with scores of 72 and 73 respectively. 

The next qualifying events are The Gowf Cup at Louodun on Sunday the 22nd of June and the Troon Welbeck Open at the Troon Links,  and Hillhouse Cup at Royal Troon the following weekned.
