Kilmarnock (Barassie) have secured their place in the final of the 2010 Wallace Thornton Trophy competition after recording wins in all four of their qualifying section matches.
In SECTION 2, Kilmarnock (Barassie) followed their 3-1 home win over Ayr Belleisle with a similar scoreline at home to Ardeer and on the road they were even more impressive with a 4 - 0 win at Troon St. Meddans and a 3.5 - 0.5 win at Prestwick St. Nicholas.
Ayr Belleisle completed their with home wins by 4 - 0 against Prestwick St Nicholas and 3.5 - 0.5 against Troon St Meddans
Troon St Meddans are involved in the remaining matches in the section, at home to Ardeer and away to Prestwick St Nicholas.
In SECTION 1, holders Troon Welbeck have set the early pace with 3.5 - 0.5 wins at home to Irvine and away to West Kilbride in their opening fixtures. Their remaining matches are at home to Prestwick St Cuthbert and away to Ballochmyle.
West Kilbride completed their home fixtures with a 3.5 - 0.5 win over Ballochmyle.
Prestwick St Cuthbert have still to complete any of their four section matches whilst Irvine have, in addition to travelling to St Cuthbert, have West Kilbride and Ballochmyle to entertain at the Bogside course.
The final of the Wallace Thornton Trophy competition will take place at largs in September.
