Ayrshire and Renfrewshire both maintained their unbeaten records in the 2025 West of Scotland Inter County Under 18 Boys League for The Wishart Trophy on Sunday the 20th of July when they fought out a 4-4 draw at Kilmacolm GC.
The four under 16 ties were shared 2-2 before Lyle Vogwell put Ayrshire ahead with a 3&1 win.
Euan Forrest made it 4-2 for Ayrshire, winning the short 17th to go one up and holing from 12 feet at the last to ensure a win in his tie.
With jenson Fergusson losing 2-2, the match result lay with the final tie, but it was Struan Brooksbank who won the final hole to give Renfrewshire a drawn match with a single hole victory.
