THE AYRSHIRE JUG - One second round result to be confirmed in mixed greensomes knockout competition.

The third round line up in the 2025 mixed greensomes knockout competition for The Ayrshire Jug is almost complete, with just one second round result remaining to be confirmed.

Alistair & Jane Belford (Prestwick St Nicholas) had a single hole home win over Jamie & Maya Wilson (Troon Portland/ Royal Troon) in round two and will visit Cameron & Elizabeth Hosie (Kilmarnock Barassie) in round three.

Neil & Sheila Kennedy (Loudoun) beat their visitors Ian & Judith Pettigrew (Kilmarnock Barassie) by 4&3 in the second round and will now host Bob & Pauleen Cameron (Ayr Belleisle/Ayr Belleisle Ladies) in the last sixteen.

Carol Ann Lennon & Kenny Conway (North Beach) had a 3&2 home win over David Kerr & Jennifer Gunson (Kilmarnock Barassie) in the second round and will now host Catherine & Alasdair Malcolm (Ayr Belleisle Ladies/Golf South Ayrshire) in the third round.     

The outstanding result is in the second round tie between Iain & Shirley Campbell (Preastwick St Cuthbert) and neil & carol Scott (Prestwick St Nicholas) with the winners due to host Alyssa Gillies & Andrew Orr (Ballochmyle/Loudoun) in the third round.

All the third round ties are due to be completed by the 22nd of June.
