DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - John Haggarty leads the way after first four events

John Haggarty (Loudoun) leads the way in the Ayrshire Order of Merit for The Doc Thom Salver after the results of the first four of the twenty four counting events have been recorded.

The results from the Ayrshire Strokeplay Championship, Ayrshire Matchplay Championship, West of Scotland Strokeplay Championship and West Kilbride Open are included in the latest returns, with the results from the St Cuthbert Open, The Ayr Seafield open, and the Scottish Open Strokeplay to be added by the start of June. 

Ayrshire Strokeplay Champion Harvey broadfoot (Royal Troon) is currently in second place, just ahead of John Shanks (Irvine) in third.

June sees a further seven counting events taking place, including The belleisle Cup, The Ayr Golf Festival, The McGlchrist Cup at Ardeer, The Amateuir Championship at Royal St George's, The Gowf Cup at Loudoun, the Troon Welbeck Open and The Hillhouse Cup at Royal Troon.
