The Ayrshire team for the second round of qualifying matches in the 2025 Scottish Men's Area Team Championship where they face Lothians at Turnhouse Golf Club on Sunday the 8th of June has been announced.
Newly crowned Ayrshire Strokeplay and Matchplay Champions, Harvey broadfoot (Royal Troon) and John Haggarty (Loudoun) will represent Ayrshire alongside Scott Brown (Prrestwick St Cuthbert), Blair Morton (Royal Troon) Steven Stamper (Turnberry) and former Dumbartonshire Matchplay Champion Matt Allen (Western Gailes).
In a very tough qualifying section Ayrshire drew their first match 4.5 - 4.5 at home to Perth & Kinross at Irvine in May and will be away from home against Glasgow in their final qualifying section match in July, as they bid for a place in the finals weekend at Elgin in September.
The teams play three foursomes matches in the morning and six singles ties in the afternoon.
