Three members of the Ayrshire Girls team shon in the West Of Scotland Ladies Championship, held at Lanark GC on Sunday 8th May.Seven handicapper Mhairi McKay (West Kilbride) pictured right- with a net aggregate of 143 (72-71) won the individual handicap trophy as well as combining with Connie Laffrey (Troon Ladies) & Emma Hale (Troon Ladies) - pictured below - to win the Junior Team title as well.
The individual scratch trophy and title of West Of Scotland Ladies Champion was won by Eilidh Briggs of Kilmacolm whose scores of 74 & 73 gave her a one under par total of 147.
The best placed Ayrshire player in the championship was ALCGA County Champion Rachael McQueen (Troon Ladies), who finished 8 shots adrift of the winner, on 155.
