David Muir & Craig Young (Loudoun) beat their visitors Alec Cairns & Michael Hedberg (Largs Routenburn) by 5 & 4 and now travel to meet Kevin McCormack & Robert Payne (Ardeer) in round 2.
Iain & David MacDonald (Largs) had an away win by 2 & 1 over Stephen Tait & Scott McCabe (Crosshouse) and travel to meet Frank Henderson & Walter Meiklem (Troon Welbeck) in the second round.
