The East Ayrshire Council Strokeplay Golf Championship took place on Saturday 21st May at Loudoun, with the players returning the top 16 scratch scores qualifying to contest the Scratch Matchplay Championship over Caprington next week, if available.
In the Strokeplay event, Loudoun swept the board in the scratch prizelist, Chris Bone returning a two over par 70 to lead the field by two shots. Paul denim and Tommy McInally were tied second on 72 with Scott Gilchrist in fourth place on 75.
