Annanhill G C have withdrawn from League 3 in the Ayrshire Summer (Scratch) League, with immediate effect.
As a consequence of the withdrawal, the results of all matches already played by Annanhill this season have been declared null & void.
The withdrawal, leaves League 3 with only five competing teams remaining.
As a consequence of this and an earlier withdrawal in another of the leagues, it has been agreed that the following proceedure will apply in respect of promotion and relegation between the five leagues this season.
LEAGUE 1 - 1 team relegated
LEAGUE 2 - 1 team promoted and 1 team relegated
LEAGUE 3 - 1 team promoted and no relegation
LEAGUE 4 - 1 team promoted and no relegation
LEAGUE 5 - 1 team promoted
Assuming an entry of all the same clubs next season, with no additions, this will leave the Leagues comprising 6 - 6 - 5 - 5 - 4 teams for 2012.
