AYRSHIRE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - Quarter final line up

The 2011 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions Trophy competition has reached the quarter final stages.

EUAN McKINNON (Corrie) beat his visitor Barry O'Rourke (Kilbirnie Place) by 4 & 3 in the last 16 and now faces a home match against JOHN SLOAN (Doon Valley) who had a home win by the same margin over Robert Marshall (Beith) in round 3.

A 4 & 2 away win over Alan Connery (Irvine) gave SCOTT BROWN (Turnberry)  home advantage in the quarter finals where he will play STEVEN McEWAN (Caprington) who booked his place in the last eight with a 6 & 5 win at home against Tom Reid (Stewarton)

ADAM SWEENEY (Largs Routenburn) had a walkover against Stephen Murray (troon Welbeck) and in the quarter finals is at home to GARY BRYDEN (Girvan) who had the biggest win in the last 16, by 9 & 7, away to Ricky Tait  (The Chase)

JOHN HAGGARTY (Loudoun) had a one hole victory in the third round, away from home against Craig Robertson (Abbotsford), to set up a qaurter final match against his clubmate and title holder TOMMY McINALLY who received a walkover from Wullie McGill (Ballochmyle) in the last 16.

All the quarter final matches are due for completion by 31st July, with the semi finals scheduled to be played at Royal Troon on Friday 5th August.
