AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - three championship semi finalists now decided.

Three of the four semi finalists in the 2011 Ayrshire Junior Golf League Championship have been decided, with the outstanding matches in the remaining section due to be completed by the end of July.

In Section A, ANNANHILL finished their campaign in style with 5 - 1 wins away to Largs and at home to Troon Welbeck, to take the semi final place.

Final points totals were :-

16 - Annanhill
8 - Troon Welbeck
0 - Largs

In Secton B it was IRVINE (BOGSIDE) who qualified for the semi finals. Loudoun had a 4.5 - 1.5 home win over Prestwick St Nicholas in their final match, to end St Nicholas hopes of matching Irvine's points total, whilst also recording thir own first win of the campaign.

Final points totals were :-

12 - Irvine (Bogside)
8 - Prestwick St Nicholas
4 - Loudoun
0 - Troon St Meddans

In Section C it was AYR BELLEISLE who finished well clear of their rivals in the race for the semi finals. Ballochmyle finished in second place with a 6 - 0 home win over Irvine Ravenspark in the final match in the section.

Final points totals were :-

24 - Ayr Belleisle
12 - Ballochmyle
6 - Irvine Ravenspark
6 - Caprington

Section D remainst the only one still undecided. Prestwick St Cuthbert presently lead the way from Kilmarnock (Barassie), with the match betwen the two clubs at Barassie looking likely to go a long way to deciding who progresses to the semi finals from the section.

10 - Kilmarnock Barassie
2 - West Kilbride
0 - Ardeer
