The finalists Jack Thomas & Callum McLean |
In the final it was McLean who took an early lead, winning the second with a par three after the opening hole had been halved in pars. The lead was short lived however, a par four at the short third hole being good enough for Thomas to square the match.
The next seven holes were halved in pars before Thomas took the lead for the first time in the match with a winning par five at the eleventh hole, then extended his advantage to two holes with a birdie two at the short twelfth.

The long thirteenth was halved in fours before Thomas extended his lead to three holes, with four remaining, with a winning par four at the fourteenth.
At the fifteenth hole, Mclean could do nothing to stem the tide, Jack Thomas securing a winning birdie three for a 4 & 3 win and the Champion Of Champions title for 2014.
At the end of play, League Chairman John Stobie (Prestwick St Nicholas) presented the trophy to the new champion, Jack Thomas.
