Scotland were soundly defeated by England on day 2 of the 2011 Home Internationals being played this week at County Sligo GC in Ireland.The Scots lost out in both the foursomes and the singles as England ran out winners by 10.5 - 4.5.
Michael Stewart (Troon Welbeck) again teamed up with Ross Kellett in the foursomes but the Scots pair were defeated 2 & 1 by J Senior & A Sullivan.
In the afternoon, Stewart faced Sullivan again and was defeated by 4 & 3
In the other match, the host nation Ireland maintained their 100% record with an 11 - 4 win over Wales.
