The three Ayrshire players competing in the Boys Amateur Championship this week at Burnham & Berrow GC and Enmore Park GC in England failed to qualify for the matchplay stages after completion of the strokeplay rounds.
With the top 64 players and ties qualifying for the matchplay rounds, the cut fell at 150.
Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) and clubmate Jack McDonald both tied in 122nd place on 154 (+12) after rounds of 80 - 74 and 76 - 78 respectively.
Charlie Macneal (Troon Welbeck) finished in joint 193rd place on 158 (+16) after ronads of 78 & 80.
