Dumfries and County’s Greig Marchbank eased to an emphatic victory in the SGU 72-hole event.
The 16-year-old celebrated his call-up to the Scotland boys' team earlier in the week with a six-under par aggregate of 282, four clear of Liberton’s Anthony Blaney.
Marchbank opened with a two-under par 70 to share the first round lead with Jamie Savage (Cawder) and stretched clear of the pack with an excellent four-under par 68 to hold a five-shot lead going into the final two rounds on Sunday.
A third round 69 followed by his first over par round of the weekend with a 75, gave Marchbank his maiden Junior Tour win.
Best performance from the Ayrshire competitors was that of Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) whose aggregate of 294 (+6) gave his fifth place.
A third round 81 pushed Charlie Macneal (Troon Welbeck) into joint 21st place on 306 (+18) whilst an out odf sorts David Wilson (Troon Welbeck) finished in 39th place on 331 (+43)
