Scott Brown (Turnberry) is the first player through to the quarter finals of the 2011 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions Trophy competition.Former Ayrshire Matchplay title holder Brown visited Alan Connery (Irvine) this week and returned from the Bogside corse with a 4 & 2 victory to see him into the last eight of the competition.
Brown now faces a home tie against Steven McEwan (Caprington) or Tom Reid (Stewarton) for a place in the semi finals.
