Michael Stewart (Troon Welbeck) won through to the last 16 of the 2011 Amateur Championship at Hillside on Thursday morning.
The reigning Scottish Amateur Champion and South African Amateur Champion beat Daniel Stapff (Brazil) by 4 & 3 to go through to the last 16 on Thursday afternoon where he will face Philip Fendt (Austria).
