WHERE ARE THEY NOW ? - Mark Henderson sends best wishes from The Maldives

The Ayrshiregolf web page is being read further and further afield and has now reached as far as the Maldives, with a former Ayrshire golfer sending his best wishes from there this week.

Many will remember Mark Henderson, who won the Ayrshire Boys Championship in 1998, when he was a member at Loudoun Gowf Club where his father Eric was the club steward.

Mark sent best wishes this week to many of the Ayrshire officials and players who were involved in county golf in his time.

Mark has only been back in Scotland on short holidays since going to Texas on a scholarship, and was at Royal St. Davids in Wales for four years where he completed his PGA training.

A further move to an exclusive club in the north of Poland as head professional follwed before his latest move to the Kuredu Island Resort & Spa in the Maldives where he runs a golf academy.

Good to hear from one of the former county players and we are sure that if any former Ayrshire team mates of  Mark's are ever in the Maldives on holiday they will receive a wam welcome from Loudoun's former Ayrshire Boys Champion.
