The seventh edition of the Ayrshire Golf Association yearbook is now available, in limited numbers.
Due to circumstances outwith the control of The Association the yearbook, which was due to be available at the start of the season, has only recently been received.
It is hoped that further copies will be delivered soon and these will be made available in clubs throughout the county.
The yearbook contains a considerable ammount of information about The Association and its activities and includes a review of the 2009 golfing year, a club directory and contact information.
To mark the anniversary of the first Open Championship which was played 150 years ago at Prestwick, in 1860, the front cover this year shows the buckle of the original trophy, the Challenge Belt.
