Ayrshire Vice President David Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) finished fourth in the 2009 Central Seniors Open tournament at Stirling Golf Club last week, earning him ranking points for the first time this season.
Rounds of 75 and 69 gave Miller a total of 144, leaving him four shots adrift of the winner, Ian Taylor (Royal Burgess) who returned rounds of 72 & 68 for 140.
Brian Smith (Kilmacolm) and Eric Lindsay (Blairgowrie) were joint second on 142
Turnberry pair John Broadfoot & Ronnie McLellan matched each other with rounds of 78 & 75 for 153 totals.
