With returns now collated from 9 of the 15 counting events in the 2009 Doc Thom Ayrshire Order Of Merit, Keith Hamilton (Ayr Belleisle) still leads the way in the table by a clear margin.
The latest counting event recorded was the recent Ballochmyle Open where home club players were to the fore, filling five of the seven counting places.
Former Ayrshire Matchplay Champion Craig Hamilton led the way with a four under par 70, edging clubmate Thomas Green into second spot by two strokes. William Wilson (73), Andrew campbell (73) and William Andrew (74) filled places five to seven, whilst the Loudoun Duo of John Haggerty and Tommy McInally were joint third on 71.
