The undernoted request has been received from Guy Redford. This is a great opportunity for volunteers from local clubs, with some time on their hands, to help out with a notable championship in the Ayrshire area.

Glenmuir PGA Professional Championship 2009
(Including the Glenmuir Womens’ PGA Professional Championship)
Dundonald Links
Tuesday 16th - Friday19th June 2009
Dear member
Dundonald Links have asked for our help with volunteers to perform a range of stewarding duties at the Glenmuir PGA Professional Championship being held:
Tuesday June 16th – Friday June 19th 2009.
Duties will include customary stewarding, scoring and ball spotting as required by the championship organisers. Morning and afternoon shifts will be organised to allow volunteers the opportunity to watch some of the PGA professionals play.
All volunteers will be provided lunch on the day and invited to take part in a Glenmuir sponsored Golf Day, at Dundonald Links on a date to be arranged later in the summer.
As well as receiving regional qualifying exemption for The Open in 2010, the top five finishers in the Glenmuir PGA Professional Championship will automatically represent Great Britain & Ireland in the PGA Cup at The Carrick at Loch Lomond in September - the club professionals’ equivalent of the Ryder Cup.
If you are available on any or all of the days please add your name to the list (downloadable from the link on the left of this page) and forward to the undernoted.
