Thanks to Ray Gill for forwarding a couple of results from the Ayrshire Seniors League, Section 2.
The defending champions Prestwick St. Cuthbert opened their 2009 season with a 4 - 1 win over Kilmarnock (Barassie).
Also in Section 2, Kilbirnie Place had a 3 - 2 win over Ardeer.
Unfortunately no results from Section 1, involving Annanhill, Ballochmyle, Loudoun and Irvine Ravenspark are available.
