AYRSHIRE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - Three through to quarter finals

Three players have booked their places in the quarter finals of the 2009 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions competition.

Three times winner Tommy McInally (Loudoun) had a 2 & 1 home win over Michael Roos (West Kilbride) in round 3 and now faces a trip to meet either David Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) or Bert ferguson (Royal Troon) in the quarter finals.

Kevin Fergusson (Prestwick St. Cuthbert) had a one hole victory away from home against Billy McCulloch (Brunston Castle) to set up a home tie in the quarter finals against Scott McCahill (Maybole) or Gregor Dickson (Largs).

The other player through to the last eight is Del Chamberlain (Troon Welbeck) who had a 2 & 1 away win against Gordon McCrea (Beith). Camberlain now faces a home tie against Andrew Carroll (Drongan) or Jamie McPherson (Whiting Bay) in the quarter finals.

All other quarter final ties are due for completion by 21st June.
