Morag lost out in the final, at her home club, 12 months ago, but made no mistake this year to take the County title for the first time, having been leading qualifier for the matchplay stages after the strokeplay qualifying round on Tuesday.
In the final, Morag beat the second best qualifier, Jennifer Linklater (Largs) - pictured below with Morag Mcpherson- , who was appearing in her first county final.
The final was an exciting affair which Morag Mcpherson eventually won at the 19th.
Three up after 13 holes, Morag looked to be in control, but Jennifer squared the match by winning the 14th, 15th and 16th before Morag stopped the slide with halves at both the 17th and 18th and then provided the killer blow at the first extra hole.
In the semi finals on Thursday morning, Morag Macpherson bt Rachael McQueen (Troon Ladies) by 5 and 4 whilst Jennifer Linklater bt Alex Glennie (Kilmarnock Barassie) by 4 and 3.
