AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - Ayr Belleisle Vs. Kilmarnock (Barassie) in League Championship decider

The final of the 2010 Ayrshire Junior Golf League Championship, scheduled to be held at Largs on 26th September, will be between Ayr Belleisle and Kilmarnock (Barassie).

Ayr Belleisle were 4 - 2 behind after the first leg of their semi final against Annanhill but in the return match at Ayr on Sunday 12th September, the Belleisle team overturned the result of the first leg match for a 4 - 2 win and a 6 - 6 draw overall.

The results of the second leg ties (Belleisle names first) were :-

Rory McGuire lost to Darren Young 3&1

Under these circumstances the tie was decided by a contback over the individual ties in both legs of the semi finals and it was Ayr Belleisle who progressed to the final on the countback.
