AYRSHIRE GIRLS GOLF - Grace Mackie wins Centenary Trophy at Turnberry

The Ayrshire Girls' Centenary Trophy (Stableford) competition was played over the Kintyre Course at Turnberry on Sunday 19th September.

On a breezy but dry afternoon ten girls played the Kintyre while 14 pre-handicap girls played a stroke competition over the 9 hole Arran Course.


Emma Hale, the holder, put up a great defence of her trophy finishing on 36 points, but it was Troon's Grace Mackie (pictured above holding the trophy) off 14 who was the runaway winner with a splendid 40 points.
