AYRSHIRE GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP - Orla Moran & Sandi Rogerson are winners at Troon Darley

Orla Moran (Irvine) and Sandi Rogerson (Kilmarnock Barassie) were the trophy winners when the 2025 Ayrshire Girl's Championship took place at Troon Darley golf course on Thursday the 7th of August.

Eight girls contested the 2025 championship and Orla repeated her 2024 success at Annanhill GC when she retained the Ayrshire Girl's Championship Trophy with a fine scratch score of 76 for 18 holes.

Nine handicapper Sandi Rogerson won the Prestwick Salver and the Ayrshire Girl's Handicap Champion title with a nett score of 72.

Second place in the scratch and handicap categories went to Alyssa Gillies (Ballochmyle) and Tammi Grady (Irvine) respectively.

At the conclusion of the championship Ayrshire Golf Association President Andrew Gilligan (Royal Troon) presented vouchers to the succesful players before handing over the two trophies to the 2025 champions.
