THE AYRSHIRE JUG - First round ties in mixed greensomes knockout completed

The two first round ties in the 2025 mixed greensomes knockout competition for The Ayrshire Jug have been completed recently.

Kevin Hamilton & Karen Miller (Rowallan Castle) had a 2&1 win on their visit to play Calum & Linda Nairn (Prestwick St Cuthbert/Prestwick St Nicholas) and will now play host to Susan Smith & Roddie Middleton (Loudoun) who received a walkover from their first round opponents Kevin Flack & Janet Harkness (Skelmorlie).

Two second round ties have also been completed recently.

Alyssa Gillies & Andrew Orr (Ballochmyle/Loudoun) hosted Gordon & Elizabeth Neill (Prestwick St Nicholas) and won through by 4&3 to book an away tie in the third round at either Prestwick St Cuthbert or Prestwick St Nicholas)

Scott Singleton & Ann Stevens (Irvine Ravenspark / Irvine) beat John & Liz keohone (Loudoun) by 1 hole in their tie over the Loudoun course and will now be at home in the third round.
