Several other first round ties have been completed recently.
Brian McGarrity (Drongan) came through a marathon match on his visit to play Aston Kerr (Ayr Carrick), winnign through to the second round with victory at the 21st, the third extra hole.
Brian McGarrity will now be at home to Alasdair Berry (Irvine Ravenspark) in round two after Berry won his first round home tie against Andrew Errington (Prestwick Centre) by 3&2.
Jamie Hay (Ayr Belleisle) needed two extra holes on his visit to play Kevin Thomas (Troon St Meddans) in round one, and will now visit either Sam Findlater (Braehead) or John Shanks (Irvine) in round two.
Title holder Aidan Long (Ayr Belleisle) faced a difficult tie away to Steven Stamper (Turnberry) in round one, but won through by 2&1 to set up an away tie in round two against either Fraser Innes (Largs) or Ryan Morrison (Ayr Seafield).
