Loudoun Gowf Club, who won promotion last year as Division 3 Champions, have made an impressive start to their Division 2 campaign in the 2012 West Of Scotland ladies inter club league for the Greenlees Trophy.
The East Ayrshire club, in only their second season in the event, opened with a 9 - 0 home win over Eastwood and followed this with a 6.5 - 2.5 away win at Erskine in their second match. Loudoun then made it three wins from three with a 8 - 1 home win over Cardross in their latest match this week.
The other Ayrshire club in Division 2 are Prestwick St Nicholas and they opened their campaign with a narrow 5 - 4 away defeat to Old Ranfurly before being defeated 8 - 1 in their second match, away to Douglas Park.

There are four Ayrshire teams competing in Division 1 this season and they have had mixed fortunes in their opening fixtures.
Largs began their title bid with a 5.5 - 3.5 away win against near neighbours West Kilbride who suffered a second successive defeat with a 6 - 3 loss away to Whitecraigs in their second fixture.
Kilmarnock Barassie opened with a 5 - 4 home win over Whitecraigs but went down by 8 - 1 in their second match, away to Ranfurly Castle.
Troon had similar contrasting fortunes in their opening two fixtures, losing 8 - 1 in their opener at Milngavie before bouncing back with a 6 - 3 home win over Ranfurly castle in their second match.
