After losing their opening home match to Loudoun in Division 1, Ballochmyle were beaten 5.5 - 0.5 away to Irvine GC in their second match of the 2012 series.
In the other match played recently, newly promoted Prestwick St Cuthbert were defeated 4 - 2 away from home against West Kilbride in the opening fixture of Division 2.
