Ayrshire have three representatives in the 2009 Scottish Seniors Matchplay after the qualifying rounds were held at newmacher on Tuesday 25th August.
David Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie), John Broadfoot (Turnberry) & Keith Howie (West Kilbride) all secured places in the matchplay stages.
Miller led the way amongst the locals, qualifying in fourth place on 153 (78/75).
Broadfoot (84/81) and Howie (80/85) both qualified on 165.
In the first round of the matchplay, which begins on Wednesday, David Miller plays Keith Hay (Westhill), Keith Howie plays Gordon McDonald (Callander) and John Broadfoot faces Iain Stewart (Curragh)
The matchplay continues on Thursday and Friday this week.
