Scotland avoided the wooden spoon at the Boys Home Internationals at hankley Common, England, on Thursday with a 11 - 4 victory over Wales in their final match.
In the second match on Wednesday, Scotland lost 9 - 6 to England. Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) was rested in the foursomes and lost 3 7 2 to James Webber in the afternoon singles.
On the final Daty, Jack McDonald teamed up with Ian Redford in the foursomes but was defeated 4 & 3 by Rhys Pugh and Luke Jackson.
McDonald finished his week in style however, beating Mark parry by 4 & 3 in the afternoon singles against Wales to help scotland to victory.
England beat Ireland in the final match to take the Home International series.
