John Shanks (Ardeer), the new Ayrshire Boys Champion extended his lead at the top of the Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit, with only 4 counting events still to be recorded, after a second place in the recent Irvine Ravenspark boys open competition.
Adam Foley (Ayr Belleisle) has made the biggest move on the table in recent weeks, winning both the Ravenspark and Ardeer open competitions to move up to third place, only 85 points behind Shanks and 10 points behind second placed Euan Brown (Kilmarnock Barassie).
