Steven McEwan (Caprington) remains on course to defend the junior Champion Of Champions title after victiory in the semi final recently.
In the semi final, McEwan faced the 2005 Ayrshire Boys Champion, Jamie Mackay (Kilmarnock Barassie). In the match, played at the Barassie links, McEwan edged home by 3 & 1 to set up a final meeting with either Mark Tait (Annanhill) or Adam Sweeney (Largs Routenburn). The final is scheduled to take place at Troon Darley on Sunday 17th September.
